Roast to Post

Coffee Roasting

Bagging our coffee

We use a hot-air Coffee Roaster. It is essentially like a giant popcorn popper. It takes 18lbs of green bean coffee and over the course of about 30 minutes gives us about 12lbs of roasted coffee.

Bagging our coffee

Bagging our coffee

We bag our coffee ourselves utilizing mylar coffee bags. Our bags don't leave any plastic residue on the coffee. To handle the out-gassing of CO2 that coffee does for six weeks after roasting we put a pinhole in the top left corner of each bag. This ensures that out-gassing and air shipping doesn't cause our bags to pop.

The monthly 'Coffee Club'

The monthly 'Coffee Club'

At the start of each month we ship coffee to our coffee club members. This monthly mail order club includes customers that have been with us since 1992.
